Uniform Detail: All members have a number of options when getting their uniforms.  We would like for all Scouts to have their uniforms by the end of October. About the dues: We acknowledge the amount of dues may seem high, but that amount covers an entire 12 month calendar year of scouting instead of one season. Please be aware that this program will allow your son to develop leadership skills, develop strong social skills and learn all kinds of interest life lessons, while earning awards for his hard work. Along with you as a key participant your son will be able to take part in many activities with the pack, making new friends and just having fun as a family.
We have two fund raisers the Multi-Family Yard Sale and Popcorn Sale that will help you earn money towards your dues and uniforms. More information on these events will be provided in our weekly meetings and on the Website Home Page.
If for some reason your scout’s dues are a problem for your family, please talk to your den leader or call Cubmaster Roland Rowell, at 704.301.8505. We never want “lack of funds” to equal “lack of fun” for your scout. 

Money Matters, Here is a breakdown of what your dues support:
·         Scout Dues $75
o   Gold Rush Participation Fee - $15 per scout
o   Outdoor Games Participation Fee - $15 per scout
o   Union District Spring Camporee - $15 per scout
o   Also covered is your scout’s Cub Scout Manual and Pinewood Derby Kit - $15
o   Supply’s per scout - $15

Please be aware that you can earn the dues amount by selling popcorn (more about this sale coming soon!!!) If your son turns in a total order of $225 or more than his dues are covered. Our pack receives about 1/3 of the total sale for our treasury. 

Also, please be aware that you will need to pay ahead of time for the first 2 events because the registration deadline occurs before the popcorn sale is over. Any scout who reaches his goal will have the fees for these events refunded if they participated.
