Ok, the 100 Years of Scouting Celebration is this weekend. If you are camping with us or participating in Saturday’s activities this email and attachments will provide all the information you will need to get you to Camp Barnhardt prepared for a lot of fun.
Please see the event schedule below and the attached PDF titled “Gold Rush, Essentials List” that list all the items you will need for camping and all the items you are not allowed to have at Camp Barnhadt

FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2010:
4:00 – 8:00 pm – Check In at Log Cabin – Our site will be close to site 8 & 9 by the old Archery.
See Roland when you arrive to get your “Yes, I belong” wrist band all participants will need one
9:00 – 9:45 pm – Mini-Campfire to introduce theme – Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
10:30 pm – LIGHTS OUT, QUIET TIME
SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2010:
7:00 – 9:00 am “Yesterday” Breakfast Menu – Cook on fire, no items from coolers
Saturday only attendees should try to arrive by 8:45 am and see Roland to get your “Yes, I belong” wrist band all participants will need one
9:15 am – Flag Raising and Opening Ceremony – Cub Scout Howl
9:45 – 3:45 pm – All activities, a schedule will be provided (BBs, Archery, Early Crafts, Kites, Early Games, Regatta, Rocket Derby, Compass, Indian Craft, Soda Bottle Rockets)
10:00 am – 1:00 pm Pinewood Derby Heritage cars
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm Pinewood Derby Race – Central NC Council Championship
4:00 – 5:00 pm – Free Time
5:30 – 7:15 pm – Cook and eat “Yesterday” Supper
7:30 – 9:00 pm – Campfire Program
10:30 pm – LIGHTS OUT, QUIET TIME
SUNDAY, MAY 23, 2010:
7:00 am – Wake up
7:00 am – 8:30 am – “Tomorrow” Breakfast and Campsite clean-up
8:40 am – Flag Raising
9:00 am – Worship – Chapel
9:45 am – Break Camp
Preparing for Meals:
Please be aware that you are responsible for your drinks and remember we are a “Green” troop, bring a plate and utensils for meals
Friday Dinner – we will not have an organized meal and you will be responsible for providing your meal
Friday Night Campfire – We will have s’mores, please bring a roasting fork
Saturday Breakfast – Eggs in a bag
Saturday Lunch – Hot Dogs and Chips
Saturday Dinner – Hobo Meal (Meat and Veggies wrapped in foil) Please bring your choice of meat; beef patties or chicken patties are recommended. Meats with the bone in it will take a long time to cook. The pack is providing vegetables and bread.
Sunday Breakfast – Pancakes
